Problem

Women with disabilities represent up to 20 percent of the world's female population. The majority of these women are living in less economically developed countries. They face discrimination and inaccessibility to education, training, employment, transportation and housing.

The Global Fund has awarded over $1.5 million in grants to 111 grassroots organizations in 59 countries led by women with disabilities that are working on disability rights issues.

Your gift will help us grant vital funds to groups like the Nepal Disabled and Neglected Women Society that educates and trains women with disabilities. And supports their search for job placements and their will to live independently and contribute to their communities.
