The Global Health Council, for many years, creates a bridge between Congress and global health programs to make sure that our legislators know what is needed to improve the lives of the world’s poor. Candlelight is celebrated anually in more than 1,000 communities in 65 countries. Run by volunteers, these events are forums for advocacy, knowledge sharing, community building and remembering. Your gift will provide a coordinator in the U.S. more

Your donation will advance advocacy efforts for change in global health by contributing to informational events (briefings) and short publications (policy briefs) for Congress. Because Congress is often inundated with information, they need digestible and usable information that can be used to better inform U.S. policy. more

Your gift will support an advocate in informing policy-makers about the issues, so that children get basic health services such as immunizations and nutrition. The tragedy is not that we don't know what to do, because we do. more

This gift will provide for a year’s subscription of Global HealthLink and Global AIDSLink, the Council’s flagship magazines, to a library in a developing country – where the resources are needed most. more
